Introduction

With the Password Manager you can quickly and easily create easily create secure random passwords. Protect your Internet access, online banking logins, FTP server data and other data that should not be should not be accessible to third parties.

With the integrated container, you can manage all passwords at the same time with just one master password and always have an overview of the passwords. This the tedious task of memorising data.

It is also possible to save generated password lists.

The Password Manager can be conveniently stored on a <html><acronym title=„Universal Serial Bus“>USB</acronym></html> stick, as no installation is necessary.

Generate passwords

To generate passwords, proceed as follows:

Start the password generator Make the desired settings under Navigation Click on the ATOM toolbar The passwords are now generated and can either be used directly or saved as a text file.

General information on encryption

The passwords are stored in the Container.dat file. There they are encrypted at runtime with <html><acronym title=„Advanced Encryption Standard“>AES</acronym></html> encryption at runtime. The programme works with an internal encryption key. On request, you can have a version of the Password Generator that works with a unique encryption key. General notes on security

The Password Manager offers a high level of protection against password theft. Nevertheless, it is essential that you choose your master password with care. You should consider the following things:

  • Do not use any private data such as date of birth or similar.
  • Do not write down your master password
  • Do not store your master password on your PC
  • If possible, choose a combination of numbers and letters
  • The master password should be at least 12 characters long
  • Do not use keyboard sequences such as „qwertz“
  • If you forget your master password, there is no way to view your entries again
  • If you keep these things in mind, you should have no problems managing your passwords.
